Camping - A Fun and Exciting Adventure Everyone Should Try
Are you tired of sitting around the house on the weekends with nothing to do? Are you stressed out by your job and need some relief? Then get in your car and drive through the nearest campground. If you are not sure where the closet campground is, then try visiting your local county or state park. I actually recommend driving through in the morning because once you smell the bacon cooking and the coffee brewing you will be hooked. I am not sure why but food just smells so much better when it is being cooked outdoors.
Now if you have never camped before you will need to make a list of supplies to buy before going on your first trip. I suggest buying the bare necessities until you decide whether or not you really enjoy camping. The main items you will need are a tent, air mattress, cooler, camping stove, cooking utensils, lantern, flash lights, bug spray, first aid kit, board game, deck of cards and some comfortable camping chairs. You can go to your local big box or sporting goods store and purchase all of these items for around $300.
Now that you have purchased your items and found a campground, you are ready to set up camp. The first thing you need to do is find a level spot to set up your tent. Now if you have never set up one before it can be a little challenging but also a lot of fun. Just remember to carefully read the instructions and make sure you anchor your tent in the ground so it does not blow away in the event of a storm. Once you have your shelter set up you can just sit back and relax.
Now if you have never camped before, you are probably asking yourself what do I do now. Well there are so many things you can do on a camping trip. You can hike through the woods, ride a bike, play cards, play a board game, read a book, swim, fish or just lay around the campground and take a nap. A lot of this depends on what type of activities your campground offers, but the most important thing is to relax and have fun.
Once you have camped for a while and you decide that this is for you, then you can always upgrade to some type of camper. I started out with a used pop-up camper and have since bought a larger hybrid camper. What ever you choose, just remember that when you camp: its cheaper than a hotel, you can almost always take your dog, and you don not have to spend a fortune eating out because it is so much fun to cook your own meals outside.
Well I hope I have convinced you to take a drive to your nearest campground to see for yourself. I just know that once you do, you will fall in love with camping like I have.

Light Your Way With A Camping Lantern
Light Your Way With A Camping Lantern
For many camping trips, as well as around the house, a lantern can be quite a convenient and useful thing to have.
A good lantern can make the difference between stumbling around in the dark trying to pitch a tent and getting a good nights sleep under the stars.
1. Fused for Adventure Flashlights burn out quickly and don’t light up a large area - this is where lanterns come into play. This lantern provides adequate light for the most intimidating of hikes or excursions and can help show the way to many a lost or wayward traveller trying to make their way home. You can use a lantern to illuminate a very large area such as an outdoor kitchen.
2. Choose Wisely There are various types of camping lanterns. You should identify your own hiking and camping needs before you decide on the lantern because consideration must be given to the various facets of lantern technology. Information about power sources, brightness quotients, and portability is all important and is customizable to your particular adventure and its needs. You should not wait until an emergency or dangerous situation to realize that you selected the wrong camping lantern.
3. Battery Powered Lanterns There are rechargeable camping lanterns that come with high recommendations. This is because there is virtually no limit to the power source as you can purchase several rechargeable batteries that can easily be plugged into other implements. There are remote lanterns that function with infrared technology and battery packs to light your path or there are traditional fused lanterns that rely on natural fuel sources and flame to produce adequate light.
Familiarize yourself with the fuel sources that you will have at hand and make your selection based on that.
4. Built Strong To Last Long Since you will be taking the lantern with you on trips, you will want it to survive the rigors of an outdoor environment. A lantern should be water- resistant and should not fracture easily. A good camping lantern can resist the problems of the elements of nature with ease. Be sure to check how many hours the lantern can stay bright for before it needs to be changed or refilled so youre not caught in a predicament. Also, remember to turn off the lantern before hitting the hay or else you might wake up to find you don’t have any power left for the rest of your trip.

Kids Camping Gear - What The Kids Must Carry For The Perfect Camping Experience
Kids Camping Gear - What The Kids Must Carry For The Perfect Camping Experience
---tital--Want the entire family to enjoy the camping experience? Then make sure that your kids carry certain essential items and enjoy the camp.
Camping with the family can be a very good way of spending some quality time and strengthen the family bonds. It is an established way to make the children understand the importance of living in nature and helps them be more independent doing things for themselves away from the luxuries of their home. The proper equipment and planning will make any camping trip more of a memorable experience and a very enjoyable one too.
When you decide to purchase your camping gear you should give a thought to purchasing some gear that the children will be able to use and help out with. Children will love to be a part of setting up the tent and the fireplace at your chosen camping site. You will be able to locate a huge variety of children’s camping gear at any sports mart, or even a general store might have some. Some camping gear that is made especially for children includes; battery operated torches (flash lights) rain coats, tents and sleeping bags. When the children are allowed to use their own camping gear they develop a sense of independence and self sufficiency. Once you are done with the purchasing of the children’s camping gear you must give a lot of thought to the trip itself.
Deciding on the location and how you are going to get there is very important. You will definitely be driving a bit of the way; however, you should try to put in a lot of trekking into the effort as well. This is all part of the fun and adventure. Instead of going out into the wilderness your should try to get a spot where there are a lot of activities that the kids can enjoy on the trip.
If you can get a few of the kid’s playmates to accompany you on the trip it will make the experience all the more enjoyable. Take some board games along on the trip to play when darkness falls, this will be an added joy to the ball games as well.
Apart from buying the children’s camping gear and taking care of the entertainment aspect of the trip. Give a lot of thought to the safety measures you should be taking while on a camping trip. Start with educating the children about safety norms. This could include first aid and how to protect themselves should they come up against animals and reptiles. First of all they should know that they must not stray further than they can be seen and heard. Tell them also to stay put when they are lost and make a lot of noise. This will be a great help in locating them. Each child must have their own pocket emergency torch as well. Then make sure they have ample clothing for the trip. Once all this is taken care of you can rest assured you and the family will have a wonderful and memorable camping trip.

Make Camping Easy and Fun With Outdoor Solar Lights and Products
Make Camping Easy and Fun With Outdoor Solar Lights and Products
So, you are getting ready for an upcoming camping trip and are thinking about the "essentials" for your weekend in the woods. You probably have all of your gear for setting up a camp site including a tent, sleeping bag and other equipment. You are also probably thinking about cooking, bathing and even some "luxuries" like communication and any emergency needs.
This is a wise approach to an enjoyable weekend or camping trip because many people forget about some of the more difficult realities while they prepare for a vacation. For example, what will you do in the event of a medical emergency? While you may know that a hospital is about twenty miles from the camp site, the problem may be that you have no idea how to find the hospital! What kind of facilities are at the location? Will there be hot water? What kind of lighting will be available?
Luckily modern technology can provide solutions and answers to all of these questions through solar powered products, and a frequent camper would be wise to invest in some of the best solar powered camping essentials.
Beginning with communications; like millions of other consumers you probably have a cell phone, mobile device or GPS. Each of these remarkable gadgets can function in a wide number of ways, but each of them also requires a fully charged battery. The problem then is just how to charge a battery in the middle of the woods?
The answer is a good solar charger. These are lightweight and completely portable solar panels that are constructed of durable and flexible materials that will provide a small, personal electronic device with a full charge. Some backpackers will even drape the waterproof units over the exterior of their pack and use it to feed their GPS with a constant charge throughout the day! This is also great for emergency situations where a cellular phone or other device may be required to call for help.
The next area where solar equipment can help out on a camping trip is lighting. There are an enormous range of solar powered lamps and lights that can provide up to twelve hours of service on a single charge. This saves campers from lugging the significantly heavier, battery powered units traditionally used in the woods, and it also eliminates any concerns about running out of light when batteries die. Often times, a good portable solar charger can be your lifeline out in the wilderness.
Finally, one of the most enjoyable experiences provided by solar power on a camping trip is a hot shower. Specially treated bags can be filled with ice cold stream water and left in the sun for a few hours where the bag superheats the water and provides a steaming hot shower for a lucky camper!

Camping Supplies - 4 Most Essential Camping Gear For A Troublefree Camping Experience!
Camping Supplies - 4 Most Essential Camping Gear For A Troublefree Camping Experience!
Whenever you decide on to go for camping vacation. There are essential camping supplies you have to think about. Particularly if you are new to camping scene altogether. There are lots of things you will have to learn and do before going for camping. The camping supplies that will be required on your camping trip is much more than a tent and a sleeping bag.
First consider the size of the tent you are looking for. The tent size will depend on the number of people going for camping and the number of tents that are going to be used. The tent size will also depend on how comfortable you want to be while camping. For example, if you buy a tent sized for four people will mean that 3 people can sleep comfortably and fourth can be accommodated only if you plan to sleep packed and cozily in the tent with everyone having limited number of camping supplies.
Sleeping bag is one of the most important item of camping supplies. It’s not proper to take just any bag when going to camp. It’s essential to find out the weather condition of the campsite in order to take necessary precautionary steps to stay warm while sleeping and also protect your camping supplies while on the camping trip. As the campers carry their camping supplies in a backpack, so it’s important to find a bag which is not heavy and also too bulky. It would be so awkward to carrying something bulky along with the rest of the camping supplies . Therefore look for the right one for sleeping, which should be comfortable. To buy camping supplies may not be always cheap but it also doesn’t have to necessarily make a big whole in your wallet. You can find the best quality bag at a reasonable price too from people who deal with discounted camping supplies.
One more thing that is important for camping if one decides is a camping stove. This can be purchased from any store, it need not necessarily be bulky and heavy, and any good quality and light weight stove can serve the purpose during camping. Small stoves are the best choice for a stove while camping in which even travel utensils can also fit into. There are different and specific camping gears that can suit different campers depending upon their preferences. For instance, some people camp along with their small children, these people have to take lot into consideration before proceeding for the campsite than those traveling alone or with friends. There are some precautions all campers should take, but when children are also part of the camping program, and then there are more things to worry about.
There is a camping gear available for families in which whole family can share very comfortably. Camping gear is available for all ages, no matter who is camping whether old, or young, or traveling in a group or camping alone. It’s easy to set up and use the tent which is essential for people who don’t want to waste time building the tent.

Camp Out and Chill
Camp Out and Chill
With the entire buzz about global recession and whatnot calling our attention to scrimp and save every penny we can, we should never, ever forget to wind down and relax once in a while. A spring that's wound too tight will only break with too much pressure.
And here's one surprisingly overlooked way to do just that without spending a small fortune on airplane tickets, hotel fees and tourist guides: grab a camping tent and camp out for a night or two the old-fashioned way! It's a great change of pace, especially for people surrounded by concrete jungles jam-packed with people and pressure at every corner. Nothing sure beats waking up to the fresh smell of nature wafting through your nostrils (minus the mosquitoes, of course.) Plus, it's something you could do alone, with your partner, or with the entire family!
Of course, it won't hurt to get an idea of what you're doing before you dive head-first into your trip to set up camp. So here are some tips for creating that perfect camping experience:
First, gather information. Check out some spots to set up your camping tent, what's needed on the trip, how to get there, what to watch out for, etc. The sources of information about camping sites may vary depending on where you are, but the most reliable way of gaining information about camping is asking someone who has experienced camping for themselves. First-hand information from someone who has gone camping is one of the most reliable sources of tips and tricks for planning your own camping trip!
Second, prepare what you'll need in advance. A first-aid kit is a must for any trip, while a camping tent would provide shelter from the elements. Sleeping bags, blankets, and jackets are other things you'll need to warm yourself up as you sleep, while matches, flashlights, and insect repellents (for the aforementioned mosquitoes) are just some of many bonuses that you could bring along to help make the trip a more convenient and satisfying one. And, of course, what camping trip would be complete without food to roast over that open fire! Bring just enough that you won't starve, but don't bring too much that you'll be spending your entire trip cooking up a storm.
And finally, don't forget to plan what you want to do on a camping trip. No, it's not a business proposal where you have to plan every single step and breath you're going to take. Simply outline what you want to do in your trip. You might want to try your hand at fishing, hunting, hiking, or other similar activities in the wild. There are even more exciting activities that are offered in some camp sites: racing events, adventure trips, horseback riding etc. Or you could just simply hang back and enjoy the view without a worry in the world.
That's the basic premise of camping out: Chill, relax, and take it slow once in a while. It sure won't burn a hole in your pocket to spend a few days and nights out in your camping tent laying back, taking in the beauty of it all, and relaxing to the sight, smell and sounds of nature.

That's the basic premise of camping out: Chill, relax, and take it slow once in a while. It sure won't burn a hole in your pocket to spend a few days and nights out in your camping tent laying back, taking in the beauty of it all, and relaxing to the sight, smell and sounds of nature.

Camp Kitchen Equipment - Which Cooking Equipments To Take Camping!
Camp Kitchen Equipment -
Which Cooking Equipments To Take Camping!
Oftentimes people get so excited for their camping trip, they often don’t put much thought into the cooking they’ll be doing. This can be a big mistake because once you’re out in the elements hiking, fishing or swimming, food will soon be on your mind! There is nothing worse than eating quick meat and cheese sandwiches for every meal. What you decide to bring will depend greatly on the type of camping you want to do. For the group ’roughing it’ not a lot of camp kitchen equipment will be needed. Oftentimes a cast iron grate to place over the fire is enough for these diehard roughnecks. A dutch oven is usually a great addition to the camp kitchen as it can be used to cook nearly anything. There are dozens of recipes available online for cooking with a cast iron dutch oven over an open fire. A smaller sized skillet may also be something to consider, and don’t forgot a coffee tin for those early mornings! For those camping with families the options are endless.
The cast iron pie maker is a favorite of camping moms everywhere to make hot sandwiches. If staying in a campground, electric is often available and bringing along a portable mini grill gives the cook lots of options for dinners. This also works well with campgrounds that don’t allow open fires. Some other tools available to the camp cook are grills that sit overtop the fire, and metal tripods to hang your kettle over the open flame. For hikers, lightweight kitchen tools will be essential. Many outdoor stores offer an entire section of tools specifically for hikers that are both lightweight and can fit into the hiker’s pack. Waterproof matches will also be very necessary as there is no food without fire, and there is no fire without a good match to light it. When camping, it’s important to be hyper aware of your fire and the weather conditions. If the wind is too high, many campgrounds will prohibit fires for the day, and never light a fire if there are trees nearby.
There have been way too many forest fires due to irresponsible campers lighting fires. It is essential when out in the woods to not only know and obey the laws, but also have respect for the natural area you’re using. Remember, take only pictures and leave only footprints.

Primary Considerations When Buying Camping Tents
Primary Considerations When Buying Camping Tents
Winter camping can only end up into two experiences: fun and safe or horrible and devastating. Needless to ask, campers, regardless of experience and purpose for going out in the winter would choose to have fun and safe camping. Choosing a camping site, buddies and foods to bring are basic considerations. Yet the importance of choosing a tent is unquestionable. Thus, campers have to seriously take into account the primary considerations when buying camping tents.
The first consideration should be the type of tent. Experienced campers recommend four-season tents which are specially designed for winter camping. Most of such type has geodesic dome design that enables the tent to withstand heavy snow loads, extreme cold temperature and high winds with its ability to shed snow. One has to be aware that four-season tents, also known as mountaineering tents may come in double-wall or single-wall models but the latter is recommended because they are literally lighter. The tent has a roof line that significantly allows snow to fall off, thus, preventing it to collapse due to heavy snow load. Most winter campers use four-season tents due to its versatile and specialized ventilation system.
Your camping tent should be durable due to the bare reason that it must be able to withstand heavy snow and high winds. Normally, four-season tents were designed to have stronger poles but it is recommended to choose the ones with extra poles. Durable ones are those with collapsible poles. Those made with aluminum, carbon fiber, tubular fiberglass and high-strength aluminum are highly recommended. Avoid buying tents with cheap fiberglass poles because they literally break and shatter easily. They must be freestanding and can be set up easily on rocks and snow. Tents made of nylon or polyester fabric with factory seam-sealed seams are durable and light.
The tent's room and its size really matter. You will not certainly sacrifice comfort during the winter camp, will you? For comfortable camping tents, one must choose a slightly bigger than other types of tents. Winter camping would require one to bring in bulky gears which require more space. The height of the tent must also be considered. So you should choose the one that will allow most of your camp buddies to stand inside the tent. Most often than not, you will stay longer than normal inside your tent during winter so it is best to have extra space inside for ultimate comfort. Although it would mean extra dollars, tents with storage pockets and gear loops would be very helpful.
Choose a tent with waterproof rainfly. The waterproof rainfly outside the tent wall will help reduce condensation. Because breathing will allow the accumulation of humid air inside the tent, you should expect fine particles of ice that will get over your body and your gears. The rainfly can provide better insulation as it relatively increases unmoving air space layers, thus, can make the inside tent's temperature ten to twenty degrees warmer. The bottom line is, buy camping tents that are simple, durable and comfortable.

Basic Camping Tips Every Camper Should Know
Basic Camping Tips**Camping can be the perfect family activity you can plan for; it's fun, inexpensive, and worth all the effort....
Basic Camping Tips Every Camper Should Know
If you have extra time to spend with your family and you have little kids with you, camping is a
very good option to make. Children and adult alike truly love both adventurous activities and family gatherings. Camping can be the perfect family activity you can plan for; it's fun, inexpensive, and worth all the effort.
When it comes to the perfect camping, all you need to do is to prepare the things that you need. While preparing, you might want to keep your budget in mind so the family won't feel any financial strain whatsoever. You might spend a little now and then but every penny spent will all be worth a smile and the echo of laughter.
If you want the most out of your camping, there are two things you can prepare:
Camping equipment and camping activities.
Preparing the Camping Gear
If have camping equipment stored somewhere in the house, it's a good sign that you could save more with the activity. Since your budget is limited, buying new stuff might not help, instead it will only add up to your burden in budgeting what your money can afford. There are many options available if buying new camping equipment is a strain. You could try to borrow from your friends or neighbors. If none of them has the necessary equipment, you could try to visit some stores where you could rent some camping materials instead of buying them.
If worse comes to end, don't lose hope. Gather the family and try to think of alternatives and be resourceful. The house is full of materials which you could substitute to the formal camping equipment. You just need to be creative. For example, you could substitute wide tarpaulins for tents. Camping is not a luxurious activity after all. The main objective of the activity is to experience new things with the family gathered as one. Sometimes, the most valuable things in the world can actually come from things that are free.
Preparing the Camping Activities
Unlike other usual activities, camping will explore the survival skills of any person. You get to experience things different from your usual chores. This is the right time to experience fun along with the environment. The family could include activities like swimming, fishing, boating, and making camp fire. This is also the right moment where the family could bond together especially during the fun activities. Think ahead and pack the necessary things for your games or activities.
Safety is also a Priority
Camping equipment should always include safety gears like flashlights, emergency light, bandages, and necessary medicines good for the whole family. Always assess the place where you would like to camp. Make sure that your family is safe to stay in the place. Try to check the weather report since camping is much enjoyable with a fine weather. If a bad weather is expected for the day, it is better to postpone the trip.
Make sure that necessary things are ready for camp and all things are packed before leaving the place. There are lots of good places to camp with which includes lake, forest, hills, and springs. But any place is a great place to camp with as long as the family is gathered as one.

Safety Measures In Buying And Using Camping Heaters

Safety Measures In Buying And Using Camping Heaters
Camping has always been a very exciting get away for families and friends. Meticulous preparation however is required to ensure safety and real enjoyable experience. As all other camping gear, choosing and using camping heaters are important.
Here are safety measures in buying and using your heaters.
First thing to do is to make research on brands, models and types of heaters are the most talked about. You can do your research online, reading magazines, asking experienced campers or
friends who have safe camping experience with their heaters. If you have electricity source on the campsite, you may consider electric heaters. Otherwise, propane heaters are recommended especially for large tents. Both types are however used by most campers because they are literally flameless and thus eliminate the hassle and danger of building campfires. For small tents, you can use battery powered models.
It pays to invest on multipurpose heaters that you can also use for water heating. Choose the portable latest models as they can be used inside your tent for maximum heat and warmth. Your heater should have built-in safety mechanisms like Oxygen Depletion Sensor and low oxygen automatic shut-off system. Buy models that have "designed for indoor use" labels. For electric heaters, they should have temperature control, ambient temperature sensor and overheat protection device. Experienced campers use heaters that have ceramic honeycomb elements that are highly resistant to electricity that can allow heating up to 380 degrees F.
Always consider quality over price. Cheaper heaters may be budget friendly but you should not compromise your safety. Cheap camping heaters usually are manufactured below the standards and may lead your camping experience to a tragic one. It is not however recommended to buy models of skyrocketing price because this does not automatically guarantee high quality. Consider therefore those with trusted brand names at reasonable prices. Do not the buy the same brand that you have encountered problems with on previous camping. It pays to consider the guarantee period coverage. Reliable brands usually offer longer guarantee periods.
As all other newly bought equipment, make sure you read instruction manual carefully especially the safety precautions. Check your heaters before bringing them to the campsite. Check for leaks by smelling or applying soapy water around the connections especially for propane-powered heaters. At the campsite, place your heaters inside the tent allowing adequate space away from things that have flammable materials like your clothes, paper, sleeping bags and anything made from plastic materials. Your heaters should be placed inside the camping tent at least six inches away from the side, one to four feet from the top and at least three feet in front.
Ensure that there is enough ventilation inside your tent. This is important when using propane heaters. Leave a window or vent open to allow air and moisture to circulate. Do not seal off every space to avoid suffocation and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Never leave the heater unattended. Be aware of any sign of carbon monoxide poisoning like nausea dizziness and confusion. In the event that you experience any of these signs, switch off the heater immediately, leave the tent and evacuate to open area. Lastly, do not use your camping heaters for cooking, as reading light, to toast your bread or to dry wet clothes.

Find the Perfect Camping Heater For You!
Find the Perfect Camping Heater For You!
When you go on a camping trip, do you ever think about how cold it is going to get? The temperature will start to drop and you will start to feel very cold. If you cannot start a fire outside, the next best thing to do is to light a candle, place it in a jar and place it inside the tent; not the safest thing to do though. You risk burning the tent and there is the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

But technology is here to save you with camping heaters. The good thing is that there are many kinds to choose from, each type of camping heater having its own advantages and also its own disadvantages.
1.)Propane camping heaters
This type of camping heater is powered by propane. What is nice about many of them is that they have fans that can direct the heat to where it is needed. Some also are started by an electric ignition - this means you spend less time trying to start the camping heater and more time enjoying your camping trip. Some propane camping heaters are so advanced that they give off heat without using a flame. If you want that kind, they are know as platinum and ceramic catalytic camping heaters and are safer than those that are flame-powered.
One downside about a propane camping heater is that it can be a little bulky and you may not want to bring it just around everywhere. You also have to buy propane cans every now and then when they get finished. But you will be able to use it for other places like in your house, or even when you are going to do ice fishing. But you have to remember that while propane camping heaters are safe, you have to follow its instruction manual and use it with care. A Propane camping heater needs oxygen, so make you sure you have adequate ventilation when you use them.
2.)Electric camping heaters
Old electric camping heaters had a lot of problems. You could burn your tent down or could get shocked and electrocuted. It also wasted a lot of electricity without putting out much heat. Newer electric camping heaters now have a safety switch, and have devices that make sure they do not overheat. Another cool and nifty feature includes the ability to control the temperature electronically. It even comes with a temperature sensor - so you'll know how hot or cold it is.
Some of these electric camping heaters have ceramic parts that when heated increases its resistance. This translates into a hotter camping heater, and this means you feel warmer and you will stop worrying about how cold it is. Others have very many holes that heat the air moving through them.
The camping heater gets hotter much quicker. This makes them much safer over the propane camping heaters since no gases are released.
The disadvantage of electric camping heaters though is that they are a little more expensive, and you will need electricity to power them.
With this information, you will definitely find the perfect camping heater. Then you will enjoy your next camping trip without worrying if it is going to get cold.

Time For a Touring Caravan
Touring caravans are a great way to see your own country without the added expense of hotels. For some though the thought of holiday camp type places can fill us with dread and fear,
With the current financial climate as well everyone telling us that we need to reduce our carbon footprint, many of us have opted to try and spend more holiday time in our home countries instead of travelling abroad. Pulling out the maps and looking at areas you've never been to before is a great way to spend some of those long winter nights.

For some though the thought of holiday camp type places can fill us with dread and fear, something left over in our childhood memories I guess. The other option would be to buy yourself a caravan and a suitable car to tow it and choose our own holiday destination. As a young man cruising around in my first car I must admit to having a general dislike for caravans and caravanners, especially when caught behind one on a single track road. That was in my youth though were everything had to be fast and sitting behind the wheel of my Ford Capri with a caravan in front it could feel the world was coming to a stand still.
Today however my youth years are long gone and slowing things down a little is the number one
priority. I'm in no hurry to get were I'm going, I know I'll end up there and as many people have said it's not the destination that's important its how you get there.
This statement is very true when thinking of buying a touring caravan. If you're the type of person that has to get everything when you want it in the fastest possible time then caravanning may be a shock to your system. Fast food and on-demand TV maybe something that fills your normal daily routine but when pulling a touring caravan everything slows down.
The journey is half the fun of your holiday, and getting to your caravan site safe in one piece is your number one priority. Regardless if your about to embark on a long journey across international boundaries or a local one crossing nothing more than a county boarder you should try and make the setting up, hitching up and packing up just as much fun as the journey there and your time on holiday.
Touring caravans are a great way to see your own country without the added expense of hotels. They can also be a great way to explore other countries without hassle of train, flight or bus timetables. Just don't get hung up on doing things fast.
